Eat cake for breakfast! I am a strong believer in eating whatever you like, anytime of the day. Give me breakfast for dinner or cake for breakfast and I am as happy as I can be (as long as I am feeling for it of course). I have been surrounded with food since growing up as my family worked in the food industry, thus I was fortunate enough to have been exposed to home cooked meals and lots of eating ventures. In addition, having spent most of my childhood days with my grandparents, I remembered standing next to them while they cooked, even helping out sometimes (if they allowed). I was intrigued with the process of all the preparation it took to prepare a meal. Overtime, cooking with my mom on the weekends became an activity I enjoyed very much. All the cooking techniques I had learned in my younger years had helped me a great deal when I went away for University. I had roommates who were equally as interested in food as I was and cooking was our form of procrastination when we did not feel like studying. About two years ago, I became interested in the art of baking and decorating when I first saw a cake decorated with fondant in the shape of a gift box. Mesmerized by the edible art, I discovered through online tutorials that I could easily transform cake into art. My passion for cake decorating has allowed me to continually learn and discover new techniques for creating these edible work of art. This site was created to showcase the work I have created over the years, as well as an avenue for those interested in my work to contact me here if they require.
